Pitch camp at a Cathedral!
Posted on 30 June 2008 12:10:28 by Balnek Sangra
Are you interested in history? Fancy a week helping to maintain some of Britain's historic places of worship?
CSV is running one-week residential camps throughout the country in July and August, working in Cathedrals and places of worship to maintain, clean and restore the buildings.
Every year they recruit leaders to support the young people that take part on the camps. Camp Leaders will get training and expenses and have an amazing time! It is not a religious organisation and would suit anyone who enjoys working with young people and is interested in history.
This could be especially useful if you need to complete a residential for your Duke of Edinburgh training. Contact natalie.wint@bbc.co.uk to get involved.
Appetising Enterprise!

We need volunteers to help out in a range of ways at a new green social enterprise offering pur vegetarian catering for all occasions.
Green Garden Cafe is opening soon using as much locally-sourced organic products as are available, and using environmentally friendly biodegradable packaging wherever possible.
Would you like to get a fascinating hands-on insight into how a business is run and have the opportunity, as a young person, to be involved at decision making level? Or would you like to help out at the allotments, delivering the good food and learning about healthy cooking?
This project is run in partnership with The Foyer (Young People's Centre) in Coventry to deliver healthy living training to young people. For more information, please get in touch with natalie.wint@bbc.co.uk.
