An Agent4Change will be embarking on the Yorkshire Three Peak Challenge this summer and is looking for young people from York to join her and help raise funds for charity.

Emily Cook will be climbing Yorkshire’s Three Peaks on Thursday June 19th, raising funds for READ International, a charity encouraging young global citizens to achieve development through the power of education. She is looking for other young people to take the challenge with her.

Emily, who is aiming to recruit hundreds of young volunteers in York over the next few months, says: “This is a great opportunity for young people who want to get active, challenge themselves and make a difference in the developing world. It is also a chance to meet new people and have fun raising money for a good cause.”

Students from York have already collected books from pupils who no longer need them to send to schools in Tanzania. The money raised from the Three Peak Challenge will go towards sending textbooks to Africa.
