Home Grown Music Festival - Saturday 6th September 2008
Between 01 August 2008 and 07 September 2008, in Liverpool
On Saturday 6th September we need you to volunteer at the Home Grown Music festival at Botanic Park, 1 till 9 pm
Home Grown Music is a not-for-profit community music group. They are based in Kensington and run fun but educational and engaging musical activities. HGM offer workshops in DJ skills, Music technology, vocal coaching, rapping, guitar, and the drums!
With the Home Grown Music Festival in its third year, it aims to keep encouraging the local youth to create original, contemporary pieces of music and help them develop as artists in their own right. By offering live shows in which they can showcase their talent, HGM offers confidence and experience to young and talented artists from across Merseyside.
This year's event will include a massive live stage, workshops and showcase local talent, whilst offering stalls, rides, football, boxing and much more.
We need volunteers to help hand out flyers before the event to let the people of Merseyside know about this great free event. And then on the day we're looking for loads of volunteers to help for an hour or two to assist with crowd control, car parking, and to offer help to the public.
