BBC Headroom Tent
Between 24 August 2008 and 25 August 2008, in Liverpool
Agents4Change Volunteers were integral to the sucess of a relaxation and therapy tent at the world famous Mathew Street Festival over the Bank Holiday weekend.
Agents4Change volunteers, working alongside the BBC, spent their Bank Holiday Weekend encouraging others to look after their mental wellbeing. Laughter Therapy, Drumming Workshops, and Yoga sessions were put on in the Tent, as thousands of people took time out to chill and relax at the busy Mathew Street Festival.
The tent provided festivalgoers with headphones to sit and relax to, and oppurtunities to tell the people of Liverpool what they are thankful for, and recommended the best spots to visit in the city, and in the surroundinng area.
Agents4Change volunteer Gbenga Olabayo said "Headroom is a worthwhile experience, and educating the public about their mental health is extremely rewarding!"
