Would you like to work on a befriending project?

We are looking for people who have a minimum of one hour per week for a minimum of commitment of sixmonths.

The volunteer will visit an isolated resident in Westminster and build up a one to one supportive relationship with the client. The volunteer might have a chat with that person, go out for coffee or visit a local place of interest.

It is really an opportunity to significantly change someone's life and dramatically improve their well being by giving them something to look forward to and reducing their sense of isolation.

It is crucial that the volunteer is committed to the cause of this project and is reliable, empathetic and responsible.

The organisation we are working with offers travel expenses, full training and the cost of administrating the CRB. The volunteers wil be placed as soon as the CRBs are processed.
