Soup Kitchen brings Christmas Cheer

A soup kitchen in Ashford Kent has been running every Thursday night for over 15 years for the local homeless and those in need of a meal and some company.
With no funding, they usually make do with whatever food has been donated that week. On Thursday 18th December however they prepared a full Christmas Turkey dinner with all the trimmings and, with the help of Agents4Change volunteers, created a festive party with gifts, crackers and a friendly atmosphere.
It was clear that the soup kitchen makes a huge difference to the people who go there and it was a fun night and a valuable experience for the volunteers.
