Genesis Garden Makeover
Between 15 May 2009 and 15 May 2009, in Manchester
A minibus of student volunteers, plus 3 Genesis volunteers set to work on big pots, small pots and borders galore as we attempted to plant a jungle of greenery and colourful blooms which will brighten up the day for patients, clients and staff at the centre!
Luckily the weather held out for us and we were spared from the earlier downpours. A group worked away in little teams, digging, weeding and planting to spruce up the place!
Many people commented on what good work we were doing as a team and we managed to make a difference as well as leaving with a great sense of satisfaction.
