Dingle community centre gets ‘nip-tucked’

St Cleopas Community Centre and Sticky Fingers Nursery in Dingle were given a much-needed facelift by a group of volunteers from the Merseyside area as they took part in the Agents4Change programme.

Young volunteers from Liverpool Community College were assisted by employees of local businesses, including BBC Radio Merseyside, HSBC, Grant Thornton and Business in the Community, joining forces to turn the dilapidated external premises of the centre into a bright and welcoming facet for CSV (Community Service Volunteers) Make a Difference Day, the UK’s largest day of direct volunteering.

Agents4Change volunteer co-ordinator Rachel Solomon says: “I am so pleased with how the day went; it was a monumental effort from all the volunteers who have shown just how much can be achieved through volunteering.”
