International Women's Day

We held a Celebration Event for survivors of domestic violence, with beauty and pampering treatments for women living in shelters, plus fun activities for their children, all provided by volunteers.
The event was for women, all of them survivors of domestic violence, and their children who live in refuges. While the mums were pampered and made to feel special, the children were able to have a bit of Easter-themed fun with art and craft activities and team games.
Volunteers helped out on the day with everything from badge-making with the kids to giving the mums fantastic treatments.
