Support Max and Lara’s Amazing Travelling Space Circus (yes, really!)

We need volunteers to help celebrate family literacy at the RaW Family Storytelling Festival in Wolverhampton on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 July!

The RaW Family Storytelling Festival with Max and Lara is part of the BBC’s biggest adult literacy campaign, designed to inspire adults about reading and telling stories with their children. It aims to reach the 12 million adults in the UK who struggle with reading and writing.

Can you support with:

• Representing BBC RaW communicating to members of the public about the event and project 

• Guiding people to information points & directing them to facilities 

• Offering support for Performers, particularly assisting costumed characters on the walkabout 

• Distributing BBC RaW goodies (e.g. goodie bags and balloons) 

• Supporting smaller workshop spaces where required
  

• Providing ongoing support backstage. We would love to hear from you.
