'In the Pink' for Breast Cancer Care

Between 16 October 2008 and 23 October 2008, in Sheffield

'In the Pink' for Breast Cancer Care

Agents4Change Sheffield went ‘in the pink' for Breast Cancer Care as part of October's Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Youth-led campaign, Agents4Change, ran two events as part of October's Breast Cancer Awareness Month for Breast Cancer Care.  The Charity, whose North and Midlands office is based in Sheffield, provide support services such as volunteer mentoring, telephone support and information sessions for breast cancer sufferers and their families.

On Friday 17th October, Agents4Change donned pink and raised money along Sheffield Fargate.  Volunteers got into the spirit of the event and wore everything and anything pink, from builders' hats to tutus.

In partnership with BBC Radio Sheffield, on Friday 24th October 10am-12pm Agents4Change hosted an 'in the pink' party at the BBC Open Centre, 54 Shoreham Street.  Refreshments and information about support services provided by the charity on the day.

If you want to learn more about the fantastic work on Breast Cancer Care or want help in hosting your own pink party, get in touch with Annie Thompson for more details.
