Make a Difference Day
Between 16 October 2008 and 30 October 2008, in Gloucester
If you are free on October 30th, come and help spruce up the Sue Ryder Care Hospice in Leckhampton and make bird balls with the service users.
The gorgeous site of the Sue Ryder Care Hospice in Leckhampton, near Gloucester, will be geting a garden make over, when volunteers visit the site as part of CSV's annual Make a Difference Day. Volunteers will be planting spring bulbs in the garden area and along paths at the former medieval cottage turned into a free care hospice for cancer patients. Volunteers will also be making bird balls with the service users, to attract birds throughout the winter.
