Don't Write Us Off

Don't Write Us Off was a national event which took place up and down the country on Saturday 6th December 2008. The idea was to speak to as many young people as possible to find out their thoughts about what they would like to see changed in their community and turn the negative hoody image on it's head.
We had the use of an empty shop unit in a shopping centre in Ashford, Kent which we turned into a drop in centre for young people to come and talk to us.We offered large canvases for them to write their thoughts on and asked each person we spoke to to complete a questionnaire. We had a great day and got some interesting and valuable feedback.
