Befriend a pet, help someone in your community

Agents4Change is looking for new volunteers to get involved with The Cinnamon Trust, the only specialist national charity for people in their last years and their much loved, much needed companion animals.

The 16,000 volunteers they already have nationwide play a vital role in helping elderly people to keep their pets. Volunteers are needed for any number of activities (depending on their interests and abilities) from dog walking, to fostering a pet while the owner is in hospital, to picking up pet food or helping clean a cage. 

The Cinnammon Trust is desperately in need of volunteers in all areas of Birminham because they try and ensure that volunteers do not have to travel too far from their home. Volunteers are expected to be reliable but it is extremely flexible so can fit in around work or university term schedules.

Not only do the Trust need volunteers, we also need people who are willing to promote the charity in their local area. I personally think this is a great cause, not only because of the chance to help people on my own doorstep, but also because I get to walk Jack (a lovely border collie) once a week!
