Epiphany Trust Help!

Between 16 March 2009 and 16 April 2009, in Manchester

Gill Dickinson, project manager for the Epiphany Trust, says: "Four years on and Sri Lanka is still feeling the affects of the Tsunami.

Every year we rally to the request of the Mayor of Galle, a Sri Lankan city and send items that can not be easily purchased by the community, to assist with schools and sports clubs. The hope is that these gifts go someway to giving these desperately poor people a bit of normality in their day to day lives."

Suggested items include:

  • Any sports & games equipment such as balls, football boots, all cricket equipment, cones & hoops, sports clothes
  • Arts & crafts items e.g. chalk, clay, paper
  • School  equipment such as filing cabinets, book cases, chairs and stationery

Anyone who can help out and offer support to the Epiphany Trust is urged to contact Gill Dickinson on  gill@epiphany.org.uk or call 01925 220999.
